Alright alright alright.. So, you have “paralysis by analysis” I’ve heard this term way to often and to be honest, I feel like vomiting all over it when I hear the term . People come up with the fanciest terms to make you buy their product or just to make you internalize a new “problem” you never had in the first place.
Sure, you have every imaginable fear there is in existence. I can relate.. Let’s look at some of them
Fear of the unknown.. I guess this one came about from the first caveman running away from a flying crocodile trying to have you for dinner. Remember? What happened? He/she/it/we survived! Wala! Why do you need to know the unknown anyways, and far worst -fear it?
Fear of Failure.. I guess this one came about when you almost brake your vertebrae when you were learning how to walk. What happened? You stood up, and tried. Felt down, and got back up! There is life lesson for you! Why fear it? At what point did we internalized this stupid fear? “ Oh, I have fear of failure…” ahhhhh So what! Do it anyways! What’s going to happen? May be you die? So, what, you’re not the only one. Millions do. Every day! There’s a second realization for ya.
Fear of Rejection: ok Stop Right here.. I know, I’ll probably lose some of you here.. But that’s ok, you can leave.. Go, now… hummm.. so you are still reading.. OK, OK.. This one probably came about from your first love encounter. After sending your potential mate 10 love letter, she/he rejected you.. Since then, you’ve built a believe system fueled by all the crap the rest of the world is shoveling inside your head.. You know what? It is about time you get over it. From now on, you should only fear your mother in-law. Get it? Will you finally get over the fear of stupid rejection? What are you going to do? Go to your bed and cry and never get out or do business because you got rejected? Get an effing life.. Next..
Fear of Making Mistakes.. what? Mistakes? This one probably came about when your math teacher laughed at your erroneous answer when she asked you why you were doing the problem on the floor and you promptly responded “ because you told me not to use tables” Ask yourself this question. What is the worst that could happen, if what I’m trying to do, turns out to be a mistake? Assess the situation and accept that which is the worst and move on!
Ok.. I’m getting bored, are you not?.. I hope you get the idea about how stupid it is to live with these manufactured ideas and beliefs systems.. The fact of the matter is, and the chore of my message is that, if you really want something in life you will make it happen and you will succeed. Doesn’t matter the fears, the beliefs, or the controlling thoughts nagging at you every second. Nah! None of that matters.. You will just make it happen.. Nothing else matters.
Want to chime in with some of your fears? Sure… Why not, go right ahead.
